Training opportunities

The rural and agricultural finance program (RAFP), developed with the support of FAO and CABFIN, is a specialized training programme designed for experienced practitioners working in agricultural and rural finance. It aims to strengthen the technical capacity of financial institutions and support organizations to better serve smallholder farmers and rural SMEs, while promoting more inclusive and efficient food systems.

Through an intensive three-week immersion, participants explore key challenges in the sector, including risk management, cost efficiency, and product design. The programme brings together global experts and institutions to provide practical tools and new perspectives for developing financial solutions tailored to the diverse needs of rural clients.
