Policy and Regulatory Environment for the Development of Inclusive Rural Digital Finance Services: China’s Experience and International Organization’s Practices

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the symposium on Policy and Regulatory Environment for the Development of China’s Inclusive Rural Digital Finance Services: Practice, Experience and Prospects that is being jointly organized by FAO with the Chinese Academy of Financial Inclusion (CAFI) in the framework of the CABFIN partnership.

The symposium will be composed of three sessions, taking place during 10-12 November 2020.  Each session will last around 2-3 hours (15:00-18:00 CST – UTC +8 equivalent to 8:00-11:00 CET – UTC +1). The symposium will discuss opportunity and challenges that China is facing in the process of developing digital financial services and rural digitalization under the recent rapid development of its rural digital financial industry. The focus will be on the policy and other enabling environment conditions, such as financial regulation, and related best practices.
