The course on “Housing Finance in a Changing Global Environment” will be taught from June 18th, 2018 to June 28, 2018, at the Wharton School of Business in Philadelphia, PA, USA.
Objectives
Both policymakers and private practitioners need cutting-edge information on the housing finance sector. This course addresses that need by providing an intensive period of education in policy innovations, and institutional, financial, mathematical and managerial aspects of housing finance. It has two objectives:
- To enhance the professional ability of the participants.
- To improve the short- and long-term effectiveness of their sponsoring organizations and the housing finance system in their countries.
Participants come from private housing finance institutions, government finance agencies, academia and international development agencies from both emerging and advanced economies.
The optional workshop on Securitization and Mortgage Bonds, to be held from June 29, 2018 to June 30, 2018, will provide hands-on financial calculations and legal/institutional analyses of both securitization and mortgage bond preparations.
