Finance for Food: Investing in Agriculture for a Sustainable Future

The event is supported by Borsa Italiana and will gather high level representatives from Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs), the European Commission and the financial and private sector to share views and experiences related on how to boost financing for agriculture and for agri-food enterprises as a critical mean to achieve food security through inclusive economic growth.
The President of the Italian Republic, Mr. Sergio Mattarella, the United Nations Secretary General, Mr. Ban Ki-moon and the FAO Director General, Mr. Graziano Da Silva will address the audience at the beginning of the event.
EBRD President, Sir Suma Chakrabarti will take part in panel 1: Investment in agriculture to support the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development: Opportunities, gaps, key challenges and risks.
