Boulder Microfinance Training (MFT) Program with New Digital Financial Services Concentration

Monday, July 17, 2017 to Friday, August 4, 2017

The 23rd Edition of the Boulder MFT in English will be held alongside the French language Boulder MFT program  and the 3rd Annual Rural and Agricultural Finance Program (RAFP).  The 2017 Boulder MFT Program will offer four different concentrations for participants to choose from:  Management, Policy, Development, and for the first time, Digital Financial Services. Then, participants select six courses from over 50 elective courses, delivered by Boulder Faculty, a diverse group of world-renowned experts, covering a broad range of topics and viewpoints.

The program will also feature The Boulder Master Class: New Financial Inclusion Paradigms, a dynamic roundtable event designed and led by Robert Christen and Nataša Goronja that brings together over 20 world renowned experts in microfinance to discuss financial inclusion from a holistic point of view. Each morning, participants take part in this discussion and debate on different aspects of financial inclusion, the lessons learned and the diversity of approaches.

Digital Financial Services (DFS) Concentration: Designed for microfinance practitioners working as IT managers, CEOs, financial providers, regulators, policymakers, funders, investors and technical/operational professionals seeking to introduce or expand DFS.
