Together, these two events offer a coherent and immersive learning experience, combining in-depth technical capacity building with high-level global policy dialogue.
Participants will assess the opportunities and risks of AI in financial inclusion, with a focus on policy, supervision, and governance. The programme explores how to design and implement frameworks that mitigate algorithmic bias and ensure ethical and responsible use of AI in financial systems.
Special attention is given to gender-related risks, including data gaps, digital exclusion, and exposure to financial fraud, with the aim of promoting inclusive and equitable AI-driven financial services.
The programme will conclude with participants developing actionable AI implementation roadmaps for the financial sector, drawing on frameworks developed by the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI).
