Adaptability of Risk Sharing Financing Mechanism in African Agriculture
The Conference aims to build on some of the key recommendations made during the Central Bank Roundtable Policy Forum held in Togo in March 2017.
One of the key delivery areas in promoting Risk-Sharing Financing Mechanisms involves creating a broad buy-in from private sector financial and non-financial institutions to leverage public sector funding.
The Conference will also welcome on-going discussions on Impact Investment. It is worth noting that Impact Investment and Risk-Sharing Mechanisms are complementary approaches that combine a variety of funding instruments including grants, public sector funds and traditional finance.
To widen the dialogue, the meeting aims to bring African Central Banking Institutions, Financial Institutions, policy Makers, key stakeholders and development partners including, African Development Bank, ECOWAS, African Guarantee Fund and European Investment Bank.
